A1 Flues looks to export

A1 Flues
Looking to export markets — Joe Murphy, international sales manager with A1 Flues, with the help of Mandy Rait from UK Trade & Investment.

A1 Flue Systems, a leading UK manufacturer of industrial flue and chimney systems, is set to expand after announcing plans to export to the Middle East. The company is working with UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) to organise appointments in the UAE as part of a plan to supply products made in Nottinghamshire for prestigious and ambitious construction projects.

The company will showcase work such as The Shard in London as evidence of its capabilities to supply systems for high-profile and complex construction projects.

Director TJ Moir says that exporting is the next logical step for the company. ‘There is a lot of expertise and skill within A1 Flue Systems. This stands us in very good stead to start exporting our products. UKTI is helping us to take this onto the world stage, starting in the UAE. All the manufacturing would remain in the UK, as we’re proud to make British products on British soil.’
