Xpelair, Passivhaus, ventilaion, MVHR

Xpelair has announced that two of its MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) ventilation ranges are now Passivhaus certified. They are the Xcell 300 and Xcell 400 ranges. Buildings constructed to the Passivhaus standard can have their comfort requirements met by heating or cooling the incoming fresh air, without the need for additional recirculation of air.

Mark Quigley, commercial director with Xpelair, says, ‘Reaching this standard demonstrates our commitment to energy efficiency and our adherence to, and willingness to go beyond, the latest industry standards.’
