Supporting air-conditioning equipment on flat roofs

Big Foot Systems, VRF, VRV, roof top plant, rooftop plant

Big Foot Systems offers a product that will raise the height of VRF air-conditioning units installed on flat roofs. Called High Bloc, it is non penetrative and also safely spreads the weight of the equipment across the roof. By providing adequate roof clearance, High Bloc ensures that the outdoor units work effectively.

These units are made from recycled rubber. They are UV stable, robust and have anti-vibration properties built in.

There are two sizes. Both are 600 mm wide and 120 mm high. High Bloc 600 is 600 mm long and weighs 9.5 kg. High Bloc 1000 is 1000 mm long and weighs 15.8 kg.

High Bloc is said to be particularly helpful on roofs that are susceptible to standing water if it rains hard by raising air-conditioning units above flooded rooftops.
