Power meter can monitor up to 84 branch circuits

Schneider Electric, power meter, submetering, sub-metering

Schneider Electric’s branch circuit power meter (BCPM) is a fully featured metering system that enables users to monitor, plan and optimise the use of critical power infrastructure to meet the demands of continuous availability. The system is suitable for new and retrofit installations, as the offer has current transformers with solid and split-core versions.

A single device can monitor up to 84 branch circuits. It also monitors the incoming mains. Users can gain a quick, holistic overview of energy use so they can determine any inherent operational or utilisation issue and, if appropriate, allocate energy costs at a final-circuit level.

An integrated alarm function enables alarm setpoints to be set by the user so they can be notified immediately.

Supported communication protocols include Modbus, TCP, BACnet and SNCP.
