ABB has published an updated version of its ‘Six step energy saving plan’ for making substantial cuts in electricity usage, reducing liability to the Climate Change Levy and helping companies under Climate Change Agreements meet their commitments. With two-thirds of electricity consumption in industry being used by motors, the guidance shows how sizeable savings can be made through the intelligent use of the right motors and drives.
