Accessible toilet facilities for educational buildings

Clos-o-mat, accessible toilet

Clos-o-Mat has prepared a white paper called ‘Considerations and specification of accessible toilet facilities in educational buildings’. It covers all relevant legislation and guidance, including guidelines published by the Department for Education this year that replace existing DfE Building Bulletins for primary and secondary schools

Robin Tuffley, marketing manager for the company, explains, ‘Some 60% of statemented children are now in mainstream schools, and almost 6% of the higher- and further-education population has a disability.’

The white paper can be downloaded from Clos-o-Mat’s web site.
