Mitie wins Heathrow maintenance contract

Mitie has been awarded a 3-year contract for M&E maintenance and repairs for Terminals 3, 4 and 5 at Heathrow. The company will also provide M&E maintenance services, including trackside works, to Heathrow Express as part of the contract. The contract is worth £15 million.

This outsourcing company has been providing a range of facilities-management services to the airport’s non-terminal buildings since 2010, including cleaning, roofing, fire protection and pest control.

Peter Mosley, managing director of Mitie’s technical facilities management business, said, ‘We’re delighted to be building on our partnership with Heathrow Airport and extending our service offering to support their wider estate and Heathrow Express.
