VW showroom gears up for Linia Flat

Energy-efficient lighting that is also effective at displaying the cars in the vast space of the Volkswagen dealership De Kimpe in Brussels is provided by Ridi Lighting’s Linia Flat LED system. It is a pre-wired system that also allows spot and track modules to be incorporated.

Linia Flat fittings have a simple design that avoids visual clutter. Their white light is delivered in a wide beam that spreads an even light across the cars.

An important feature in this showroom with its high ceiling is the low maintenance requirement of the light fittings.

This retrofit installation is more efficient than the previous system and has reduced the installed load by 4.8 kW.

Mike Attard, managing director of Ridi Lighting, comments, ‘The Linia Flat is perfect for this type of installation. The high output, high efficiency and fast, easy installation make it ideal for the showroom environment. De Kimpe chose the wide beam mode to provide even distribution of light across the whole vehicle display area.’

Linia Flat is available in a wide range of distribution modes via a series of optical lenses.
