MagnaClean performs well at Bannatyne spas

Following the successful installation of Adey’s MagnaClean Commercial filter in the heating system at Fairfield Health Club at Stotfold in Bedfordshire, Bannatyne Health Clubs now specify it as part of plant efficiency upgrades.

The heating system at the prestigious Fairfield Health Club serves the luxurious spa treatment and swimming facilities.

Jason Hicking, Bannatyne’s regional estates manager, said, ‘After installing two new boilers, we weren’t expecting the filter to collect anything, let alone after a very short period of time. After seeing how much dirt and debris the filter collected in just a month, we can now see exactly why new boilers shouldn’t be installed in a dirty system.

‘To limit disruption, our engineers were only able to do a partial draindown of the system and flush the pipework in the boiler room. Adey’s MC1+ chemical protection and filter work hand-in-hand to draw out and remove debris as it passes through the system.
