Balancing instrument

IMI Hydronic Engineering, commissioning, balancing

IMI Hydronic Engineering’s TA-Scope balancing instrument for hydronic HVAC systems is a wireless handheld device for measuring differential pressure, flow, temperature and power. An independent sensor communicates with TA-Scope to deliver data quickly. The TA-Relay accessory enables two remote sensors to be used over a distance of nearly 3000 m; data from both remote valves is displayed.

A full charge of the unit provides three days of continuous operation.

Data is captured digitally and can be downloaded to a computer using a USB cable and then uploaded to the HySelect HVAC design software. This software enable consultants and designers to determine the most economical system design, correct valve sizes and presetting values.
