Trox completes major London office project

Trox UK has completed a £1 million project to supply air-conditioning products for 1 and 2 New Ludgate, close to the Old Bailey in London. Working with developer Land Securities, Trox delivered a number of bespoke solutions to provide energy-efficient air conditioning for this multi-use 35 000 m2 development.

The building includes office space, restaurant accommodation and retail space.

Nick Howard, key account manager with Trox, said, ‘This was a large-scale project, but very much of the type we are particularly good at because it emphasised our abilities to provide bespoke solutions based on considerable analysis and testing at our Thetford headquarters.’

Designed by architects Fletcher Priest, the building has Trox’s specialist 4-slot diffusers around the perimeter and internally. Over £500 000-worth of fan-coil units were also fitted, with volume regulators.
