Adcock wins contract for Spinnaker Tower

Adcock, service, maintenance

Adcock Refrigeration & Air Conditioning has secured a new service and maintenance contract for the Emirates Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. At 170 m high, the Spinnaker Tower is taller than the London Eye, Blackpool and Big Ben. Features include the glass Sky Walk, which is 100 m above sea level.

The new agreement will see the company’s engineers maintain air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the tower, including the outdoor units on the roof at the top of the tower.

Other work includes maintaining the air-conditioning and refrigeration services on the two indoor viewing decks, ground-floor restaurant, the cafe on level two, and the -4°C cold room and -18°C freezer room.

The Fareham branch will also receive reactive call-outs.
