Condair electrode steam humidifier

Condair, humidifier, steam

Condair’s EL electrode-boiler steam humidifier has longer-lasting steam cylinders to reduce maintenance requirements and operating costs. These humidifiers also incorporate touchscreen control technology and BMS integration as standard. A single unit has a steam output of 5 to 90 kg/h, and units can be combined to deliver up to 180 kg/h.

These humidifiers can deliver steam to a duct or direct into the air. The steam cylinders are simply removed and replaced when they become full of limescale.

To combat scale and extend the operation life of the cylinder, the humidifier intelligently monitors mineral levels in the system. When they become too high, a drain and refill cycle is initiated to maintain the optimal mineral level. This approach is said to extend cylinder life by up to three times compared with some other electrode boilers. Water is also conserved, as is the energy required to heat incoming fresh water.

BMS connectivity includes Modbus and BACnet protocols as standard and LonWorks as an option.

These humidifiers can be connected to the internet for remote diagnostics and trouble-shooting directly by Condair.
