DC power supplies mount on DIN rail

Carlo Gavazzi has extended its portfolio of DIN-rail-mounting power supplies with the SPDM and SPDC modules. They have compact dimensions to allow more space in the cabinet. and cover power and voltage requirements for 120 W and 240 W.

Starting from just 32 mm wide, the units range from two DIN modules wide and have a low-profile design.

SPDC modules can be connected in parallel with identical units to achieve double the power.

The SPDM can deliver up to 150% of its rated power for up to 3 s, which is useful for high inrush currents at start-up.

The SPDM’s output voltage is 24 V DC, adjustable from 24 to 28 V DC. The SPDC is available with outputs of 12 or 24 V.

All units come with protection as standard. The SPDM also has a built-in current-limit circuit.
