Zehnder delivers high standards of MVHR

Zehnder, ventilation, MVHR, heat recovery

Zehnder Group’s ComfoAir Q range of MVHR (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) units incorporate a Paul diamond heat exchanger (pictured) with an extremely large surface area to maximise heat transfer. Variable duct heights across the surfaces of the heat exchanger ensure a constant flow and lower pressure loss, reducing the energy needed to overcome air resistance.

These units are also very quiet. Zehnder indicates how quiet they are by comparing the noise from Eight ComfoAir units with just one comparable MVHR product.

Accompanying the launch of the ComfoAir Q range is a series of best-practice guides covering all aspects of MVHR — from designing and installing to commissioning and maintenance.

The are three airflow rates (350, 450 and 600 m3/h), all in the same case size.

For ease of installation, flow and return connections can be changed over, with the unit then being set to recognise the configuration.

A simple, integrated commissioning wizard helps set up the system. The commissioning process concludes with an automatic system test and confirmation.

The high-quality filters are completely sealed (no bypass leakage).
