Swegon acquires Ruskin Air Management

Swegon, which produces and supplies indoor climate systems and products, has acquired Ruskin Air Management Ltd (RAML, from Johnson Controls International. RAML is a leading manufacturer of air-distribution, fire- and smoke-control and ventilation products in the UK and Ireland, with more than 50 years’ experience in the market.

RAML products deliver unique air-management solutions. The company has 220 employees with operations in Whitstable, Kent, and Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

Hannu Saastamoinen, CEO of Swegon, said, ‘We add a new competence area in Swegon in the form of their [RAML] extensive fire and smoke product knowledge.

‘As a long-term industrial investor, our aim is to reinforce and further develop the local manufacturing base in both Whitstable and Bridgnorth.’

Kevin Munson, managing director of Ruskin Air Management, said, ‘ This is a perfect match for Ruskin Air Management, and we look forwarded to continue our growth momentum as part of the Swegon Group.’
