Brighton Energy Co-op completes four major renewables projects

Brighton Energy Co-op (BEC) has recently completed four major projects. They include over 2000 solar projects at the University of Brighton, 150 kW for Portslade Aldridge Community Academy (pictured), Infinity Foods Wholesale and Refine Metals near Horsham.

Members of BEC help create new renewable and get a 5% interest on their investments. BEC also funds other community groups that work on renewable energy and energy efficiency.

In the last five years, BEC has raised £1.4 million from its membership.
