Heatrae Sadia adds extra sensor pocket to Megaflo cylinders

Heatrae Sadia has responded to installer demand by adding an extra sensor pocket to its Megaflo Eco indirect range of hot-water cylinders. This feature enables additional control for boilers connected to an energy-management system or requiring a temperature signal to regulate hot-water production.

Sensors relay information on the current hot-water temperature to an independent control system which, in turn, opens the valve to turn on the boiler.

Steven Rickard, commercial director, explains, ‘While most systems operate using the motorised valve supplied with the cylinder, the additional pocket gives more control for certain systems.’
