Rehau cable management delivers Cat 6 upgrade

The upgrading of data-networking systems in the Town Hall of Royal Tunbridge Wells has been achieved using Rehau’s Profila Data PVC trunking system. The work was carried out while staff were still occupying the building, so ease and speed of installation were important. This trunking system was developed for Cat 6 cabling and offers significant practical advantages in size and ease of installation. Its dimensions of 180 x 60 mm lend it to use at dado height. Innovations like single-piece variable-angle corners wrap around corners that are not a true 90°. There are also prepunched bases and dowel pins to achieve easy and accurate alignment and one-piece clip-on accessories. This installation was carried out by M&E contractor EDF Energy Contracting.
