Fujitsu appoints new air-conditioning distributor

Fujitsu has strengthened the distribution of its air-conditioning products with the appointment of Wave Air Conditioning. Martin Richards, managing director of Fujitsu UK, says, ‘The appointment of Wave reflects a long association with managing director Andy Stanford, whose past knowledge and experience of selling Fujitsu products will add another positive element to our channel strategy.’ Andy Stanford said, ‘Fujitsu is so important to us because of its position in the market place and the demand for a well-known quality brand that is both innovative and, at the same time, competitive.’

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
