The new sounder base can be wired to the same point as a detector and can sound a local alarm so that an incident in one dwelling can be dealt with by the occupant without raising a general evacuation. A local alert is sound for two minutes before an alarm is sounded throughout a building using an entirely different sound. The relay module has been updated so that is compatible with the new sounder.
