Preventing damage from sewer backflows

Anti-flood systems from ACO Building Drainage are designed to protect basements and lower floors from damaging sewer backflows
ACO Building Drainage has introduced a range of systems to protect vulnerable properties from flooding caused by storm surges in the main sewerage system. There are three systems. The Junior M floor gully and the SERA in-line valve system are designed for grey-water systems (not containing faecal matter or urine). The ARA in-line valve system is for black water (containing faecal matter or urine). All three systems meet the standards required by BS EN 13564. All have at least one automatic closure valve. There is a further manual closure valve for emergency use. These systems can be applied to commercial and residential properties to protect basements and lower floors.
