VRF air-conditioning cools growing building-services consultancy

Heat-recovery air conditioning based on Mitsubishi City Multi R2 equipment has been installed in the new premises of engineering consultants Desco.
To help provide the best working environment for its staff, building-services-engineering consultant Desco has installed Mitsubishi heat-recovery air conditioning in its new premises in Sunderland. The 700 m2 2-storey building accommodates 40 staff. Local contractor Hadrian Air Conditioning installed two City Multi R2 heat-recovery condensers to heat and cool offices and meeting rooms on both floors. The system can transfer energy from areas requiring cooling to those requiring heating, reducing overall operating costs. City Multi equipment qualifies for Enhanced Capital Allowances, so the project cost can be offset in the first year.
