Boiler has two independent heating circuits

Connections, mixing valves and separate pumps for two independent heating circuits and hot water are built into the Geminox THI5-25DC boiler.
A gas-fired condensing boiler that can serve two independent heating circuits and one hot-water circuit has been developed by Geminox. The THI5-25DC has been designed for the growing underfloor-heating market. The two heating circuits work at the same time, but provide different flow temperatures. Underfloor heating can thus be supplied with water at a different temperature to that required by radiators and towel rails. There are also connections for an external hot-water tank. All the hydraulics and controls for connection to two independent heating circuits and one hot-water circuit are built in. There is a special hydraulic mixing valve and second pump for the second heating circuit. Each circuit has non-return valves, and a flow sensor is fitted to the second circuit. There is also a 60°C safety thermostat to protect the underfloor heating. All electrical components are pre-wired into the boiler — contributing to an estimated reduction of six hours in installation time. House developer Octagon Homes has placed advanced orders for this boiler.
