NG Bailey acquires specialist controls company

NG Bailey, one of the UK’s largest building-services providers, has acquired Integrated Control Systems (ICS) — a specialist controls company. ICS has a turnover of £8 million and is based in the south east. ICS specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of building-management systems. Its client list includes Bovis Lend Lease and Skanska, and the company has a very strong forward order book. ICS will continue to run from its current base in Wokingham, with investment from NG Bailey creating capacity to undertake larger scale projects. Mark Andrews, chief executive of NG Bailey, comments, ‘ICS is a great business. Its values fit well with those of NG Bailey, and we are looking forward to the partnership.’ John Reid, managing director of ICS, adds, ‘Being part of NG Bailey will enable us to develop our resources to satisfy the increasing requirements of our client base.’
