Simplifying the art of commissioning

±5% accuracy over the entire adjustment range — Armstrong’s ARMflo commissioning valves.
Armstrong’s ARMflo commissioning valves have a fixed orifice to achieve an accuracy of at least ±5% from 1.2 to five full turns. Variable-orifice valves, in contrast, can achieve this level of accuracy only when they are fully open. These valves are available in sizes from DN15 to DN50 for line-size selection for applications engineered to BSRIA standards with flow velocities from 0.7 to 1.3 m/s. Low-flow DN15 and DN20 models are suited to applications below 0.7 m/s. The Y-pattern globe-style valve design reduces turbulence, and the 5-turn micrometer-style handle enables the precise adjustment of flow rate. A hidden memory stop feature saves the setting so that it can be returned to when the valve has been closed for the system to be serviced. Armstrong’s DPM-100 digital manometer simplifies the taking of differential-pressure readings, and the new ARMflow balancing slide rule converts differential pressure to flow — enabling the engineer to set the valve to deliver the required flow.
