Ground-source heat pump

Nu-Way's EcoPart ground-source heat pumps are water-to-water units that use a closed collector loop, either borehole or ground loop, to extract energy from bedrock, ground and lake sources. There are three sizes for a single-phase supply providing heat outputs from 5 to 10.5 kW and four for a 3-phase supply with outputs from 5 to 12 kW. These heat pumps originate from Scandanavia where a 3-phase electrical supply is the norm, so they are also offered in the UK. Ecopart can be used with single- and double-pipe systems, convectors and underfloor heating. Other features include near-silent operation and built-in soft starter.
