Single-phase power measurement for sub-metering — Carlo Gavazzi’s EM10-DIN.
Carlo Gavazzi’s latest MID-certified (Measuring Instruments Directive) energy meter offers a cost-effective solution where single-phase sub-metering is required. The EM10-DIN has anti-tamper features so that it can be used for billing, cost allocation and sharing measurements to conform to EU and UK regulations. Applications of this 32 A unit include public buildings, apartment blocks, offices and light industrial units. It is housed in a DIN module measuring 90 x 18 x 67 mm. These meters measure kilowatt hours with 5+1-digit resolution. They have a display, and an optional pulse meter with a resolution of 1 Wh can interface with a BMS. Installation is said to be quick and easy, with no programming being required.
