Tester for the 17th Edition

The comprehensive range of electrical tests that can be carried out by the 17th Edition tester from Metrel enables inspections to be carried out much more quickly.
The time needed to test a domestic electrical installation to the requirements of the 17th edition of the Wiring Regulations can be halved using Metrel’s MI 3101 Eurotest AT. The time required for a 3-bedroom house is about 2.5 h, compared with 4 to 5 h. The tester has a help menu to guide the electrician through the testing procedures and can store and print reports via a computer with a printer. The Pro kit version also has software that can print NICEIC certificates. For commercial testing, this tester has the new fuse characteristic tables built in and automatically compares the measurements to the limits. It can also check the sequence of phases on 3-phase installations.
