Hamilton wiring accessories compliment design of new hotel

Complimenting the design styling of the new Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Docklands is the use of stainless-steel wiring accessories from Hamilton Litestat.
Hamilton Litestat’s Sheer stainless-steel range of wiring accessories feature in the new Radisson Edwardian Hotel in the Docklands area of London — along with a range of specials that include room status indicators and a door-entry system. This range of high-quality accessories was specified by contractor Briggs & Forrester. Located at New Providence Wharf, this 4-star hotel has 174 bedrooms and views of the River Thames stretching from Greenwich to Canary Wharf, with the O2 Arena directly opposite. Each bedroom has been decorated to create a neutral colour palette that aims to give the space a very personal feel. Consequently, Hamilton’s Sheer stainless-steel face plates with black inserts were specified to enhance the contemporary theme. Hamilton supplied a wide range of wiring accessories from its Sheer Satin Stainless Steel range. They included 13 A sockets, light switches, shaver sockets, dimmers, TV and non-isolated coaxial sockets etc. Alongside the standard products, the company also supplied special Sheer hotel plates for installing under desks and at desk level in guest rooms. These plates are 320 mm long and include twin switched and unswitched 5 A and American 127 V Sockets, plus BT and RJ45 outlets. Hamilton also designed and made special plates for disabled rooms and a special audio-visual plate for the penthouse suites. To remove clutter within guest rooms, room-status indictors for the Vincard door access system display guest instructions outside the room, such as ‘please clean room’ and ‘do not disturb’. John O’Reilly of Briggs & Forrester says, ‘We specified Hamilton’s Sheer electrical-accessory range as it not only provides the quality and design styling that the client was looking for but also offers an extensive range which has enabled us to address the client’s installation requirements. At the same time, Hamilton’s bespoke build capabilities ensures that we were able to deliver innovated and practical wiring solutions.’
