T5 replacement is 5% more efficient

GE’s T5 Watt-Miser lamp is said to use 5% less energy than standard T5 lamps for the same light output and achieve an efficacy of up to 110 lm/W. Other claims include carbon-dioxide emissions reduces by up to 42 kg per lamp and energy costs by £8 per lamp over its lifetime. The payback period can be as short as four months. These lamps are a direct replacement for T5 lamps.
