Adding control to electric heating

It is simple to add controllability to electric heating appliances using Dimplex’s rotary radio-frequency controller. As control is central to Part L of the Building Regulations, the system can aid compliance. In new homes, the entire heating control system can be constructed around it. However, it is also suitable for retrofitting. An RF receiver is mounted near the appliance and the wall-mounted thermostatic controller installed somewhere more convenient. The controller fits into a single-gang wiring accessory block and has a maximum loading of 2 kW.
