Wire rope suspension system

19 October, 2008

The DobyGrip wire suspension system from Doby Verrolec is designed for the fast, safe and cost-effective installation of ductwork and other systems. A choice of lengths of wire ropes means that no cutting or joining is required as with traditional threaded rods. The external cable release provides easy height adjustment at any time. This heavy-duty system can suspend rectangular and circular ductwork in accordance with HVCA’s DW/144 specification. Overhead fixing is by ceiling hangers or clips. A full range of accessories includes DGWC wire cutters specially designed to simplify the trimming of excess cable. Two systems are available to support loads of 50 and 100 kg, tested to a 5:1 safety factor.
