Mitsubishi Ecodan air-source heat pumps now available in three sizes

Ecodon air-source
There are now three sizes of Ecodan air-source heat pump from Mitsubishi Electric.
Mitsubishi Electric has added two new models to its Ecodan range of air-source heat-pump space- and water-heating products. The Ecodan series is now packaged with a wider range of tank sizes and specifications and is also available as a standalone solution for situations where a packaged solution is not required. The two new models have a heating output of 5 and 14 kW and join the existing 8.5 kW model. All require only a single-phase power supply. Ecodan is said to offered running-costs savings of over 30% and to halve CO2 emissions compared with even the most modern gas-fired condensing boiler. Savings over older gas boilers, oil, LPG or direct electric systems are even greater. The outdoor units are self-contained so there is no need for F gas qualification or CORGI registration.
