Compact PIR timer is ceiling mounted

PIR Timer
With a switching capability of 16 A, this PIR timer from Elkay can switch a wide range of loads, including lighting. They have a light-level sensor built in.
Elkay’s new ceiling-mounted PIR timer can be used in new and existing buildings and is just 64 mm wide with an external bezel of 70 mm. These PIR timers eliminate the need for a light switch, providing instant energy saving. Detection radius is about 7 m, and 16 A can be switched. Installation requires a 64 mm hole into which the unit is inserted. Spring-loaded fixing arms are released to hold the unit in position once the wiring has been carried out. A removable bezel allows easy adjustment of timing from 2 min to 2 h, as well as the sensitivity of the light-level setting — without having to remove the whole unit from the ceiling. An internal light sensor keeps lighting off when there is sufficient ambient light. These PIR timers are available in white or chrome finishes.
