Rehau pipework offers ‘peak’ performance

Rehau pipework
Rehau has delivered over 10 000 m of its Rauthermex pre-insulated polymer pipework since it installed an unwinding machine at its UK plant in Blaenau, North Wales — enough to stretch to the top of the nearby Mount Snowdon. This pipework system for district heating comprises a carrier pipe in PE-Xa polymer, insulted with closed-cell polyurethane foam. It is being widely specified for use in district-heating schemes with condensing boilers or geothermal heat sources, where its longitudinal stability and high hydraulic performance give it a critical competitive advantage. The Blaenau factory has cut lead times in the UK compared with waiting for supplying from Germany.
