Simple solar solution from Dimplex

Dimplex

A range of solar kits from Dimplex has a number of features for easier and faster installation.

Each plate has a gross collector area of 2.15 m2, which is larger than assumed by SAP — providing improved performance of SAP default scores. The range is solar keymarked and qualifies for Government grants for installation under the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 1.

An aluminium absorber sheet combines optimum heat transfer with low weight. Double O-ring push-fit pipe connections and flexible insulated stainless-steel hoses allow rapid installation by a roofer, leaving the pipes in the loft for the plumber to connect later, without having to go onto the roof. These O-ring connectors allow up to 10 panels to be connected in series.

There is a range of installation options. An integrated roof mounting is available for a sleek profile, with an add-on flashing kit to conceal pipework going into the roof. Other options include mountings for slate, flat-tile or corrugated-tile roofs. There is also a freestanding option for flat roofs on the ground.
