Durapipe supplies broad educational needs

Durapipe

When M&E contractor NG Bailey required several different pipework systems for a major construction project at Erdlington School in Doncaster, Durapipe products were chosen, making it a simpler process. The one-stop-shop solution includes Friatherm, SuperFLO and Vulcathene systems.

Friatherm in sizes up to 90 mm was used for domestic hot and cold water services for speed of installation and reduce the risk of theft on site had copper been used.

SupaFLO in sizes up to 63 mm was specified for the rainwater-harvesting distribution pipework. This lightweight ABS material is quick and easy to joint and resistant to corrosion.

Vulcathene chemical drainage was installed throughout the science laboratories in sizes up to 102 mm.

Ryan Street of NG Bailey, says, ‘Using Durapipe meant we had one point of contact for all our pipework needs, and the technical support and on-site training that was provided was excellent. We will definitely be adopting this approach from Durapipe again on future projects.
