Riegens boosts efficiency of downlighting

The DL-ECO range of downlights from Riegens Lighting is designed to use a new generation of energy-efficient, compact fluorescent lamps. By optimising the interaction between the lamp and the ballast, Riegens has created a downlight with greatly improved efficiency.

Energy reductions of 25% can be achieved compared with equivalent compact lamps with high-frequency controls and over 50% compared with electromagnetic systems, with no sacrifice in performance.

The tri-wing fixing arrangement can cope with ceilings up to 40 mm thick.
