Britelite emergency luminaires get a makeover

Cooper Lighting

Cooper Lighting has completely updated and redesigned its Menvier Britelite emergency luminaire. The range includes several new versions with improved aesthetics and which are even easier to install.

Thee fittings use a T5 fluorescent light source and are available as surface-mounting and low-profile recessed versions with a maximum visible height of 30 mm. They can be specified with a choice of self-test or central addressable testing functionality. They are also available as slave luminaires for use with central battery systems.

All versions are supplied in two parts. The first-fix base incorporates a heavy-duty connector block, to which a combined gear tray and diffuser assembly is snapped into place.

A 3-cell 4 Ah battery provides a much higher light output than typical low-cost emergency bulkheads, so far fewer Britelites are required to cover a given area.
