Hager time-lag switches save energy for staircase lighting

Hager

Hager’s new range of staircase time-lag switches offer a simple and flexible solution for saving energy. They are easy to fit or retrofit onto a DIN rail and can be used with any wall switches. The basic switch provides an adjustable time lag of 30 s to 10 min and has a manual over-ride.

A second switch has three other modes. A pre-warning mode blinks lights on and off before the end of the timed period. A double-delay mode provides a time delay of an hour if the switch is pressed for more than 3 s. Finally, there is a double-delay and pre-warning mode, which blinks lights before they are turned off after an hour on.
