Carrier introduces new packaged air conditioners

Carrier

Carrier has introduced two ranges of packaged air-conditioning units with a host of energy- and cost-saving benefits.

The AiroQ package is designed with the emphasis on energy efficiency. The standard unit has an absorption heat-recovery wheel to recover both latent and sensible heat, significantly reducing heating and humidification requirements and achieving considerable savings in mechanical cooling capacity.

There is also an integrated inverter-controlled compressor refrigeration section, high-efficiency inverter-controlled supply and extract fans and a full set of integrated controls. The built-in control panel is compatible with all BMS open protocols.

The Airostar (illustrated) range of standardised units is cost effective and available on short delivery times. There are eight sizes and various configurations to ensure the required air volume is easily matched. Fresh-air filtration, heating and cooling are standard functions.
