Powercall supports electrical specialist with standby generation

Powercall

As part of its business-continuity plan. Dron & Dickson, which supplies electrical-equipment solutions to the gas and petro-chemical industries, has awarded Powercall a contract to deliver and set up a standby generation within a target time of an hour and a guaranteed maximum of three hours.

Dron & Dickson was conscious that in the event of a prolonged power cut, critical IT equipment would not function and businesses would be interrupted. Managing director Colin Rowley, explains. ‘Powercall UK’s service ticks all the boxes, as we are protected when a prolonged power cut occurs without having to invest in a generator.’

Since setting up the contract, Dron & Dickson has experienced two power cuts, and was quickly supported by Powercall.
