Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire has had aging air conditioning in function sites replaced by EWS.

Aged and irreparable air-conditioning units at the Drayton Manor theme park in the Midlands Have been replaced by EWS. The company is also supplying service and maintenance to the park, which is also home to Thomas Land (as in the tank engine).

Drayton Manor Park at Tamworth offers visitors some of the biggest, wettest and scariest rides. It includes a 15 acre zoo and corporate entertainment and conference facilities.

EWS replaced units in the Hamilton Suite, which is in a confined area with restricted access. EWS was asked to address the space constraints, whilst providing a cost-effective comfort-cooling solution that did not interfere with the suite’s booking schedules. Existing ductwork was also to be retained.

Two new AHUs were installed, with the installation scheduled to coincide with the refurbishment of the suite.

The park also set up an HVCA service and maintenance contract with EWS to maximise the plant’s effectiveness and longevity.

Following the success of this project, EWS has replaced units in the Tower Suite.
