Walter Meier takes on distribution of Wolf AHUs

Walter Meier

Wolf’s KG Top range of air-handling units is available through Walter Meier (Climate UK). 16 sizes cover throughputs from 2100 to 100 000 m3/h. These units are said to combine high performance and low energy consumption with sensible pricing and low cost of ownership.

The KG Top range is based on modular construction for greater flexibility. Standard 610 mm-square filter dimensions are used as the basis for all dimensions so that the cross section of a unit can be fully exploited with no dead space.

The modular construction and optimised dimensions enable several functions (such as filtration and heating, heating and ventilation etc.) to be housed in the same section — rather than have their own section. This arrangement saves space and facilitates considerable variation in design.

Units are aerodynamically optimised. Options include plug fans and EC fans and heat recovery using plate heat exchangers, run-around coils and thermal wheels.

The design is based on frame sections with push-fit corner joints. Units can be supplied for assembly on site.

Air tightness is achieved using high-quality plastic strips that can be used in a wide range of demanding applications without modification.
