Safety Shield makes first and second fix one operation

Crabtree

Crabtree’s bright yellow Safety Shield enables first and second fix of electrical accessories to be carried out at the same time, without having to return later when plasterers and decorators have finished their work. Safety Shields are said to be particularly useful in the refurbishment of domestic kitchens that have to be kept as functional as possible during refurbishment.

The Safety Shield fits between the back box and the accessory to provide a temporary finished surface for the accessory to fit against. When finishing work such as tiling, plastering and decorating is complete, the retaining screws are loosened, the Safety Shield torn away along pre-formed break points and the screws tightened again.
