Call points meet ATEX combustible dust classification

KAC

The IS version of the conventional waterproof call point from KAC has been independently tested by SIRA and approval extended from use in Zones 0, 1 and 2 gas atmospheres to included Zones 20, 21 and 22 combustible-dust atmospheres.

The units are designed for use in enclosed areas or open environments. They are sealed to IP67 to keep out dust and water and can be connected to the fire system or controlled equipment through a suitable Zener barrier or galvanic isolator to limit the energy available at the device.
