Radiant-heating panels for secure applications

heating

S&P Coil Products has developed a version of its ThermaTile Plus radiant heating panel for secure locations such as hospitals, prisons and police stations. This dual-purpose anti-ligature and plasterboard panel has a design that enables it to float within the anti-ligature/plasterboard frame to allow for expansion and contraction as the panel heats and cools.

Once the ThermaTile Plus panel has been suspended from the soffit using extended Gripple wire, the panel, complete with anti-ligature/plasterboard frame, is connected to the pipework using threaded connectors and then fixed to the plasterboard ceiling.

There is no need for a drop-down access hatch to install or maintain the radiant panels, which can be installed with the frame with as little as 50 mm below the soffit.
