Teekay expands production with new premises

Teekay Couplings, which specialises in making pipe couplings, has acquired new premises in Milton Keynes, increasing production area by 80%. The new premises accommodate final assembly, production testing and despatch. There is also storage for over 20 000 pipe couplings.

Ian Webb, managing director, explains that the new acquisition meets the expanding global business potential in five key sectors — marine, water, civil engineering, building services and industrial. ‘Our customer base in all key commercial areas will benefit directly, being able to order standard items off-the-shelf.
