Bitzer launches new R134a compressor

Bitzer, R134a, compressor, refrigeration, Ecoline

Bitzer’s Ecoline range of semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors are optimised for R134a. This new range increases energy efficiency by up to 20% and is designed for medium-temperature cooling applications. The range is based on the Octagon and B5/B6 compressors and has been extended to lower condensing temperatures to achieve COP improvements of more than 60% under these conditions. They provide an alternative to R404A systems.

The series covers 12 displacement steps from 35 to 152 m3/h at 50 Hz. All compressors feature best suitability for variable-speed drives. Motor Version 2 models for medium-temperature applications are designed to allow inverter operation up to 70 Hz, even with the standard motor.
